Students will learn to write short stories. The
projects on this page will give them practice in doing
that.
The first project in September and October will be
a group "scary story" with a Halloween motif.
Students will collaboratively develop the elements
of a story, design a storyboard and then create a
power point presentation of their story.
The second narrative story will be to write a either a Greek
myth or a fable after reading the
Holt Literature textbook,
pages 208-233. Students will use a word processor to write
and publish it, including
either imported images or hand drawn
illustrations. They can also, if
they wish, create a multimedia
version of the story as well or as a comic strip.
